PreSchool Hours For Delayed Opening: 10:30-12:10

On occasion, school will need to be closed because of adverse weather conditions

or other emergency conditions. This is broadcast through our automated phone

system, radio, internet, and television.

  • TELEVISON: WFMZ-TV (Channel 69 News).

In case of a malfunction of the automated phone system, radio, internet, and television

announcements will serve as notification.

Please be advised that three options have been developed to deal with the emergency closing of the school system:

  • The first option is for a full day closing.

  • The second option will be for a delayed opening. In this case, children would report TWO HOURS later than normally scheduled.

  • The third option will be for an early dismissal of school. In this case, children would be dismissed from school at the emergency time, which will be broadcast through our automated phone system, radio, television, and internet.

High school students should follow the Phillipsburg High School schedule.
